Dima Fogel is a photographer who sees with the heart. His frames are not photographs: they are depth and beauty caught in a moment of revelation — a person, a landscape, the forms of the divine.

Photo project
Faces
Faces is a photo project and, at the same time, a study of oneself: contemplation without direct touch. Like a film in many episodes across the regions of the world. A national code beyond nation — the union of person, place and work.
Series one. Crimean Tatars
Looking into ourselves, we seek answers. Looking into others, we find them. Looking into portraits, we read the chronicle of fates written in the features of people who have walked their path through time.
The history of a country and a people is not only a chronicle of dates and events. It is millions of fates woven into a single canvas of stories. What trace does one person leave in the great history?
The project continues with “Interviews” — the answer in living stories — and the exhibition “Social Response”: through the portrait of one person to the understanding of a whole people, and through understanding to unity. This is how we open the path of empathy.

A look through what nature has created — true harmony, divine forms — into yourself.
What states and metaphors are born in you when you look at a landscape? Through the harmony of the inner we open the source within: we see beauty in ourselves and, at times, uncover points for growth — the wish to explore and to travel.

Baring the body in unity with the element that echoes your character: the might of rocks, the flexibility and clarity of the sea, wind in the fields and in the crowns of trees.
A way of expressing yourself in your natural state, without masks — the leading role written at the beginning of the path, shaped not by fabric but by feelings and the unique melody of each woman. As if every feeling and meaning inside were set free. The beauty of a woman’s innermost world, revealed in consonance with the elements.
For the depth of self-knowledge, for the freedom of sensuality, for a way back into a state — and to keep a moment of your beauty and freedom.

Wind in the hair
Sensual, playful, light states of a woman. When she is free and alone with herself.
Walks in the mountains, gathering flowers and weaving them into her hair. Running barefoot along the very edge of the sea. There is she and the wind — a reflection of her feelings beyond any frame: free and light.
Project
Cats of the rocks
A cat that walks by itself. Cats are love — and something like a reflection of the author’s own spirit and habits.
Soft-footed across the wide world, sometimes clinging with their claws on the way up a mountain, sometimes strolling along the sea or purring over a delicacy: on their own mind and, in that soft purr, touching the warmth of people.
Cats of the Rocks are cats who chose a life among mountain trails. Wild for all their fluffiness, with their own laws and a gaze full of awareness at the meeting with the elements. Dima walked, fed them and photographed — never intruding on their territory, a contemplative witness of a moment of their life. The character of freedom.
